Dani Barbosa is the chef-owner of Bucado in Marseille, her first Brazilian-inspired gourmet restaurant. Her passion for cooking began in Brazil, in her mother's kitchen, where she would ask her about the spices and magical ingredients that brought her dishes to life. This is how Dani discovered the art of symbiosis of flavors.

With a degree in economics, Dani began her career working for 10 years in the business world as an innovation manager. But in 2020, Dani decided to follow her heart and immersed herself in the culinary world. That same year, she was immensely proud to win the title of Masterchef Brazil. That's when everything changed! So she left her office and picked up her kitchen knives to fully dedicate herself to gastronomy.

Following the success of Masterchef, Dani created Bucado, her traveling restaurant that boldly reinvented Brazilian cuisine, marking the beginning of this adventure. To perfect her craft, Dani crossed borders to explore gastronomy. She worked in a Parisian bistro, as well as in restaurants in Turkey, England, and Italy to enrich her expertise and develop her techniques.

In December 2023, Dani decided to settle in Marseille, seduced by the charm of this Mediterranean city. After a year as head chef at Bubo, Dani took the reins of the restaurant, and Bucado was finally reborn in Marseille. It is here that Dani continues to innovate, bringing her unique touch to Brazilian cuisine in her new gourmet restaurant, Bucado.
